Explore a Story/topic Day

[Full day workshop for up to 120 pupils]

You choose the story and we will bring it to life. The story day starts with 2 actors performing a 20 minute version of your chosen story/topic for up to 120 pupils. Following the performance, the actors will deliver 4 x 45 minute workshops for up to 30 pupils per session.

Each session will start with a group warm up introducing pupils to the workshop content. The workshop will focus on the characters and themes within the story allowing children to explore their ideas through movement, drama and the occasional song. The workshop will conclude with a group discussion focusing on the main learning objective.

You might decide to explore the story of Cinderella for the day. Alternatively you might decide to explore the life and times of the Tudors. Whatever you decide this workshop promises to bring your story to life and make learning fun.

We have a range of plays to choose from including; The Egyptians, Healthy Living, The Tudors, Noah’s Ark, The Greeks, Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, and A Mid Summer Nights Dream.
