Frequently Asked Questions

What type of venue is suitable for a Make a Wish Party?

All we ask is that there is enough space for the participants to move around safely and freely, therefore we request that you invite no more children than the venue can easily hold. Safety is paramount and if we feel that a venue is unsuitable or dangerous then we reserve the right to modify the activities to suit or, in severe cases, to cancel the party.

Can I hold a Make a Wish Party in my home?

Yes, but please bear the above points in mind as the venue should be suitable for the number of participants involved. It is advisable that furniture and valuables should be moved where possible. Make a Wish Entertainment does not accept any responsibility for any theft, loss or damage during a party.

What do I need to provide at the venue?

Make a Wish Staff will require a small table with sufficient access to a power supply. All props and music entertainment will be provided. Please note that you may wish to provide music once our entertainment team have left.

Should we ask the parents to stay for the duration of the party?

This is entirely up to you. All we ask is that there is enough space to accommodate any parents that remain. We also ask that all the parents are quiet for the duration of the party to avoid distracting the children.

How long will the entertainment team be at the party?

Our team will arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the party is due to start and will stay there for 60 or 90 minutes from the booking time depending on what option you choose. Please note the party begins at the time your party was booked for. We are unable to stay late to accommodate late guests.

When should I serve food?

We normally advise that the birthday tea is served when the entertainment is finished during the last half an hour of a party.
